LunaWye – Our Story
LunaWye was not created from a trend.
It was born from experience.
For six years, I cared for my dad after he suffered a stroke. I saw how quickly the body can change — how strength can fade, and how frustration and exhaustion can take hold. But I also witnessed something else.
The power of breath.
The power of patience.
The power of small, consistent movement.
Recovery is rarely dramatic. It is slow and humbling. It teaches you that healing is not about pushing harder — it is about listening more deeply.
During this time, I discovered the quiet strength of Yin yoga — the healing potential of stillness, supported movement, and breath. It revealed that confidence and wellbeing do not come from force. They grow from softness, awareness, and steady practice.
LunaWye grew from that understanding.
Our classes — including accessible chair yoga — honour real bodies and real lives. Our retreats in the countryside of Ross-on-Wye and our handmade, moon-inspired creations are extensions of the same philosophy: grounding, intentional, and guided by natural rhythm rather than urgency.
LunaWye is about restoring balance, easing anxiety, supporting sleep, and reconnecting with yourself, your community, and the cycles of nature.
It is a practice of returning — again and again — to what steadies you.
In 2026, I deepened this path through immersive Yin training in India, studying the roots of stillness, anatomy, and long-held practice in a setting devoted to slowing down. That experience continues to shape how LunaWye is taught and held today.
