Placement Guidance
Hedge of the Veil works best at natural thresholds:
• Near your front door
• On a hallway table
• Between living and working spaces
• Beside your bed during transitional periods
It symbolically “holds the line” between outside influence and inner calm.
When to Light It
This guardian is especially supportive during:
• Moving home
• Setting new boundaries
• Beginning or ending relationships
• After hosting guests
• When your energy feels scattered
Light intentionally. Not casually.
Why Three Wicks?
The three flames represent:
• Body
• Mind
• Space
Or:
• Protection
• Balance
• Strength
The triad is ancient — stability held in three points.
Burn Character
As a sculptural guardian candle, natural dripping may occur.
This is part of its ritual nature.
Each burn is slightly different — a reflection of environment and intention.
Decorative or Ritual?
Hedge of the Veil may remain unlit as a symbolic protector.
Some guardians are awakened once and kept.
Others are burned in stages.
There is no rule — only intention.
Wax Blend
LunaWye candles are crafted using a paraffin and soy wax blend.
This combination is intentionally chosen to:
• Preserve sculpted detail
• Improve structural integrity
• Support a consistent burn
• Hold shape in guardian and pillar forms
Soy wax provides a smoother finish and softer burn, while paraffin strengthens intricate moulded shapes.
The result is a stable, clean-burning sculptural candle.
Why a Blend?
Pure soy wax can soften easily and distort detailed forms.
The blended wax allows each guardian and lunar piece to maintain its definition while burning evenly.
Function and form are balanced intentionally.
Burn Guidance
• Trim wick to 5mm before lighting
• Burn on a heat-safe surface
• Do not burn for longer than 2–3 hours at a time
• Sculptural candles may drip — this is natural
For decorative guardians, you may choose to keep them unlit as symbolic pieces.
Safety Note
Never leave burning candles unattended.
Keep away from children, pets, and drafts.
